TOTAL OF 12~327 WELLINGTON, October 21. Casualties reported to July 31 last irj the New Zealand Expeditionary Force are given as 12,327 in the annual report of the General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces (.Lieutenant-General E. Puttick). The report was presented to-day to the House of Representatives. Casualties are detailed as follows:— Killed in action.—Officers, 75; other ranks, 1051; total, 1126, Died of Wounds.—Officers, 17; other ranks, 275; total, 292. Died as a result of accident or sickness.—Officers, 16; other ranks, 328: total 344. Died while Prisoners of War.—Officers, 3; other ranks, 65; total, 68.
