WEDDING

CARSON—DONALDSON

The marriage of Arthur Joseph, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Carson, Lyttelton, to Freda Marion, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Donaldson, Ngahere, took place recently at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, the Rev. A. D. Horwell officiating. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a gown of cream satin cut on classical lines, the full skirt falling into a short train at the back. Her veil was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a bouquet of cream chrysanthemums. Attending the bride was her sister, Vera, wearing pale pink taffeta and lace frock and a pink tulle veil held by a coronet of pleated tulle and flowers to tone. She carried a bouquet of pink chrysanthemums and abutilons. Mr. P. East was best man.
