Rev. Father R. O’Gorman left this morning, on return to Rangiora.

Lance Corporal A. Vaughan left this morning, on return to camp.

Staff-Sergeant R. Marsh, Nelson, who is in charge of records for the Military Area, is visiting Greymouth.

Lieutenant-Colonel C. R. Duke, Nelson, Officer Commanding the Nei-son-West Coast area,’ is visiting Greymouth.

Private advice has been received bv Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hearn, South Beach, that their son, Private C. H. Hearn, previously reported missing, is a prisoner of war.

Miss Rachel Hynd, who has been visiting her aunts, Mrs. J. Neilson and Mrs. A. Underhay, Cobden, has left on return to Sydney, to visit her parents, before returning to the Mission field in India.

Corporal Arthur Keith Spilman, N.Z.E.F., who on February 13 was invested with the Military Medal, by General Auchinleck, enlisted at Greymouth. Corporal Spilman was Insoector of Stock at Greymouth for a period in 1939, prior to taking up military duties. His parents reside at Palmerston North.

An Official Wireless message stated that Mr. Duff Cooper, accompanied by Lady Cooper, arrived in London last night, having flown to England from Malta, via Lisbon. Mr. Duff Cooper had completed his mission in the Far East, where he had been representing the Cabinet, and he left Singapore for England a short time ago.
