In the first professional wrestling bout of the season here, Fred Atkins (17st 61bs) drev/ with Jaget Singh (17st 51bs), in an exciting match of hard-fought wrestling mixed with general showmanship. In the fifth round, after a series of jolts, Atkins dumped Singh to obtain the first fall, and two minutes before .the end of the eighth round Singh equalised with a fall from an Indian deathlock.
