RAM SALE. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] MASTERTON, January 15. Good prices were realised at the Wairarapa sheep-breeders’ ram and ewe sale yesterday. The top pi ice was 270 guineas for a Romney ram bred by Sir William Perry and purchased by Robinson and Son, Gore. Highest prices in the Southdown section were 155 guineas for two rams bred by R. M, Perry and sold to C. E. Vile Palmerston North, and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company .Wanganui, as agents. A lam offered on behalf of H. J. Andrew made 130 guineas, the purchaser bein" P McLachlan, Masterton. In the Romney section, two rams sold at 200 .guineas, and several at 100 guineas.
