CYCLING The Greymouth Cycling Club held a meeting at Victoria Park, last evening. The track was in first-class condition, but a strong wind troubled the riders. There were good entries for all three events, and the riding was of a high standard. M. Malone won the half-mile in good style, this being his first race since recovering from a recent foot injury. A. Panther was the most-successful rider, being first in the 1 I- mile, second in the mile, and third in the half-mile. R. Pascoe outclassed the field in the last race, which he won by several lengths. Results: — Half-Mile Senior: M. Malone 1, J. Archer 2, A. Panther 3. Time 1.6. Eleven starters. One and a-half Mile Senior: A. Panther 1, D. Clark 2, T. Lalor 3. Time 3.43.1. Nine starters. One Mile Senior: R. Pascoe 1, A. Panther 2, D. Clark 3. Time 2.18. Nine starters.
