[OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] REEFTON, Dec. 4. Messrs J. B. Auld and C. Nevin, J’s.P. heard debt cases at a sitting' of the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday. Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in each case. S. C. Robinson trading as “Chalk & Co.” v. W. McClimont for £l/4/4 with costs 10/-.. S. C. Robinson trading as “Chalk .& C 0.,” v. R. Fluerty for £3/15/- with costs £l/3/6. At a sitting of the Motueka Licensing Committee, held at the Courthouse there were present, Messrs S. Austin, (acting chairman); J. A. McGlashan, J. Noble, and A. Rowling. An application by Julia Osborne, for renewal of .publican’s license in respect of the Globe Hbtel, Reefton, objected to by the Inspector of Licensed Premises, was refused. An application by W. U. Satherly, for permanent transfer of publican’s license for the Post Office Hotel, Collingwood, to his wife was granted. . 1
