A buyer would get a concession in Botany sorts, but crossbreds are firm. There is great activity on Government orders, and the factories are working overtime for the production of khaki overcoatings. Blackwater and Consolidated: Dividends of 1/- a share for 1939 from Blackwater Mines, and 6d a share on account of 1940 from Consolidated Goldfields have been declared. Both are free of British income tax, and are payable on July 18 in the equivalent of British currency. GILLESPIES. Gillespie’s Beach: Wash-up for two weeks ended July 13; 690 z 13dwt for 234 hours and 29,813 cubic yards. NGAHERE. Ngahere Gold Dredging, Ltd., advises that the fortnightly return to July 15 was 246 ounces for a yardage of 124,248 worked in 255 hours. BLACKBALL CREEK The Blackball Creek dredge return last week was 42 ounces in 127 hours.
