WESTRALIAN TRAGEDY
FAMILY FOUND DEAD. jtBY CABLE —PRESS ASSN.—COPYRIGHT.] PERTH, July 15. A whole family of four was found dead, all shot through the head with a small rifle, at the country village of Karragullen, <3O miles from Perth. The victims were Richard Griffiths aged 40, his wife, Rowena Griffiths, aged 35, and two sons, Laurel, aged 12, and Alan, aged five. . The family conducted a small orchard ,and appeared to be in comfortable circumstances.
A rifle was found beside the father’s body. The police express the opinion that the father murdered the others and then committed suicide.
