CHAMBERLAIN THE VILLAIN!
NEW “HATE” LESSONS. LONDON, January 6. Hatred for Mr Neville Chamberlain is being drilled into millions of Geiman children. The British Prime Minister figures prominently in a new “Catechism of Modern History” which Hitler’s Education Department has prepared and is circulating to all German headmasters. Here are two of the questions which are to be fired at infant classes, with the answers they must make: Who is the most wicked man in Europe to-day, who deprived, you of sweets and! made the streets dark at night—Chamberlain. ■ Why has Chamberlain attacked*tne Reich and plunged us into a war we did not. want? —He is jealous of om rich country and fests our Fuehrer. There is a “Higher Catechism” for older children, but this deals more with the events of the war, though its purpose, is still to inspire hate. Baldur von Schirach, Nazi Youth leader and Carl Silex, former London correspondent of the paper “Allge- * meine Zeitung” compiled it. . The catechism is compulsory in all kindergartens.
