The requests submitted had all been granted by the Council, which would subsidise the caretaker’s wages £1 weekly for 13 weeks, supply timber for additional and new seating, and repair leakages.—A motion was carried thanking the council for its help.

It was resolved that an endeavour be made to have a visit paid to the club by Mr. A. Stokes and Canterbury swimmers. A working bee was organised for November 5. It was stated that the indications pointed to a successful season.
