GERMAN OFFICERS
IMPRISONED IN BAVARIA. [By CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] LONDON, October 15. Reports have reached France and Belgium that Field-Marshal von Blomberg, former chief of the German army, and five other officers —two generals, a lieutenant-general, a majorgeneral. and a colonel —have been imprisoned in a fortress in Bavaria since August 31. A further report refers to the death of General von Fritsch during the Polish campaign. He is said to have been shot in the back by a Storm Troop leader, acting under orders from a superior officer.
