MATCHES AT KAIATA. Golf was played at the Kaiata links during the week-end in perfect weather. C. E. Heaphy won the junior men’s championship, defeating E. A. Bastings, five and four, over 36 holes. The pair finished the first IS holes all square, but in the first half of the second IS holes, Heaphy played brilliantly in recording a 39. R. Stopforth defeated E. Pattinson at the twenty-first hole, in the final of the Four Horsemen Cup. Bogey matches resulted: Senior, S. R. Wallace, five up; junior, L. Lindley, four up. > In a Jeffery Buttons match, L. Rhodes and C. E. Jones (holders) and A. E. Foster and E. S. McQueen finished all square, the holders retaining the buttons. GREY WOMEN’S MATCH. A medal match on Wednesday will be played as follows: — Mrs. Hannan v. Mrs. Meldrum. Mrs. Tizard v. Mrs. Hughes. .Mrs. Moss v. Mrs. Watt. Mis. Coffey v. Mrs. Chivers. Mi's. Bird v. Mrs. A. L. McKay.
