PROPOSED BRITISH PURCHASE. [per press association.] WELLINGTON, October 13. “Negotiations with the United Kingdom Government for the purchase of New Zealand wool are approaching finality,” said the Minister for Marketing (Mr. Nash) in a statement issued tonight. “Details of the procedure,” he said, “are still under discussion, and when these 'are completed regulationswill he gazetted providing for the purchase by the New Zealand Government of all wool for the purposes of New Zealand and the United Kingdom.” In the meantime, Mr. Nash said, the Wool Regulations, which temporarily prohibited the sale ox - other disposal of wool, and which were due to expire to-morrow, had been extended. They would be revoked when the new Wool Purchase Regulations came into operation.
