GREYMOUTH SITTING The quarterly session of the Greymouth Supreme Court will open next Wednesday at 10.30 a.m. before Mr.' Justice Northcroft. The following cases* have been set down for hearing:— CRIMINAL James Arthur Humphries; alleged bigamy and making false declaration under the Marriage Act. CIVIL CASES Carmel Callan of Greymouth, an infant suing by her guardian ad litem, Francis Percy Callan of Greymouth, railway employee and the said Francis Percy Callan v. Ronald Joseph McGurk, of Hokitika, loreman. Claim for general damages £6OO and special damages £73 0s 6d for . bodily injuries, allegedly arising out of a motor car accident on January 22, 1938. George Alexander Robertson Ferguson of Greymonth, sales manager. John Alexander Robertson., Ferguson an infant, suing by his guardian ad litem, G. A. R. Ferguson, and Mary Ferguson, of Greymouth, married woman v. The Grey Hospital Board. Claim for £7OO damages on behalf of the child, £25 on behalf of the father and £5O on behalf of the mother, and £32 10s special damages on behalf of the father. Richard Wild and Graham Monteith Miller v. Henry Shirley. Claim in respect of deposits lodged in connection with the building of the Orawaiti Bridge near Westport and the Rough River Bridge. Midland Sawmilling Co. Ltd. v. Walter Everett Roberts and Jessie Roberts, of Greymouth. Claim for £259 16s Bd. balance of amount of rent alleged to be due for hotel premises, situated corner of Arnej' and Greason Streets, Greymouth.
