The inquest into the deaths of John William Oswald Graves, his wife, .loan Mary Graves, and. their two sons, Cyril and Keith William Graves, who lost their lives -when the ear in which they were travelling went off the road anti capsized in a. waterhole at Montero on Easter Monday, was held at Motueka. to-day.

The Coroner (Mr. .1. H. Rankin) said this was one of those very unfortunate things, a. number of which had happened 1 in. New Zealand lately. The verdict was that .John William Oswald Graves died from drowning, caused through the car he was driving leaving’ the road l and capsizing into a waterhole in the Montero river. Joan Mary Graves died from injuries suffered when the car driven by her husband left the main l road and capsized over the bank into the Moutere river. Keith William Graves mot. his death by drowning, and l Cyril Graves died from severe internal injuries suffered when the car capsized into the wuterhole.
