LEAGUE FOOTBALL

INANGAHUA MATCHES At the Reefton Racecourse on Sunday, before a large attendance, Waratahs defeated Junction by 25 points to 13, after a hard-fought game. Waratahs held too many guns in the back division, the combination being brilliant. Junction fielded a good team but did not display enough combination to withstand the onslaughts of their opponents. Watson, Masters. Scott, Cutbush (2), and Smith played fine games in the Waratah backs and Orsbourn, Bissett, Chandler and Hunt were the best of the pack. For Junction. Lines. Tetley, Southon, Clark and Coleman in the backs, and Taylor, Trim, Orman, and Delaney in the forwards played well. Mr. C. McElwee was referee.

Playing at Waiuta, Reef ton juniors defeated Waiuta by 22 points Io 19. Mr. J. Barron was referee.
