BLACKBALL CLUB’S MEETING. The annual meeting of the Blackball Rugby League Club was held in the Miners’ Hall, last evening, Mr \ Neilson presiding over a large attendOn the Chairman’s motion, a vote of condolence with the relatives o the late Mr Tony Anisy, who had been an enthusiastic supporter of the code, and to the relatives of the late Mi G. H. Cruse, a keen member ot the Club since its inception, was carried. The annual report (as previous published) was adopted, and the bal-ance-sheet. showing a credit tn L-o 6/9, was received as satisfactory. For the ensuing season, the following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr H? McLuskie; president, Mrs H- J. Campbell: chairman. Mr C. Wilson: secretary, Mr B. Connors: treasuiei. Mr J. Dodds: auditor. Mr D. Kidd: executive. Messrs W. Meadowcroft. W. Driscoll, D. Kirk. A. Bowkett, T. Naylor. H. Reynolds. Social committee: Messrs A. Bowkett, AV. Dillon, C. McRoberts, C. Mountford, A. Nuttall. S. Smith, IL Naylor; selectors, Messrs L. Kinsella, J. Dodds and the captains | of the respective grades. Delegates to, W.C.R.L.: Messrs L. Neilson and B. | Connors. Coach: Mr J. Dodds. i Subscriptions were fixed at 2/6 for seniors and juniors, 2/- third grade, and’ 1/- fourth grade. It was decided to nominate one team in all grades in the West Coast League competitions. The following West Coast selectors were nominated: —Senior. Messrs N. Griffiths and J. Dodds. Junior, Mr R. Scott. It was decided to hold the annual ball in June. It was resolved to apply’ to the Centre to have the uniform changed to a red jersey with a black V-neck.
