CHURCH OF CHRIST

ANNUAL MEETING The annual business meeting of the Greymouth Church of Christ was held on Wednesday with a good attendance of members. The Pastor. Mr R. A. Blampied, reported that the year just ended had been active, 'with an increased membership and increased attendances at all services. The Bible School had gained over 30 new scholars and all auxiliaries were in a healty condition. The Treasurer. Mr R. Reynolds, in presenting the financial report, revealed that the finances of the Church had never been better; a total of £553/13/- had been received for the year, and £97 had been given for home and missionary work. By a standing vote, the. members expressed their enthusiasm and willingness to work for the centennial aims as outlined by the Preacher, whereby further definite advancement would be made in all departments, of the Church work bv 1910.

The officers elected for the ensuing year were —Elders: Messrs R. Carruthers and G. Truman: Deacons: Messrs Battensby, Forrest. Gavard, James, Mack. Reynolds. R. Truman, Taylor and Walton. Supper was provided by the ladies of the Church.
