MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the West Coast Rugby League: was held last evening, there being present: Messrs. J. Stoicbs (chairman)", W. Hopkins, J. Kidd/ >B. Rafhljiin, j. J. Anisy; A. Fielding ■ (referees’ delegate),’ W. Moore' (Junior Advisory Board) and D. Faris (secretary). Ah apology for absence ‘was received from Mr. A. Kyle. ' The Chairman referred to the death of Mrs.' M'. Glynn, of Runanga, whdm he said was one of the keenest supporters' of the code, besides having sons playing'the game. A motion ; of condolence with the relatives was passed, members standing in silence. "’ The Greymouth Athletic and Harrier Club wrote asking the support of ,t.he League, and requesting that- it be represented at the meeting to be held .this evening. . t The Chairman said that it was a worthy cause, as it would assist sport. It was decided that the Chairman' represent the League at this evening’s meeting. ' ’’

The Inangahua League 1 wrote requesting a return match with West Coast, at Reefton, and also a West* Coast-Biiller match at Westport. The letter stated that the Buller SubCentre had been granted, the use : of, Victoria Square on September 17, and' it was suggested that the match should be played on that date, and the game in Reefton the following day. The Chairman said that he thought it was out of the question to play on September 17. They must definitely finish the club fixtures first. Mr. Hopkins said that the cancellation of Rakaia’s visit would relieve the position somewhat, as regards the fixtures. ” ' ' ' Mr. Kidd: Still, we have got to finish up our own fixtures. 1 i The Chairman moved that the Inangahua. League be advised that it was impossible to send a team on September 17, but that an endeavour would be made to send a team both.to Westport and Reefton before the end of the season. The motion was seconded by • Mr. Hopkins, and carried. Th'e Blackball Club forwarded a challenge for the Junior Challenge Cup, held by Kumara. The challenge was accepted, and referred to the' Fixtures Committee. The action of the Postponement Committee in postponing the Riinanga Club’s fixtures last Sunday, on account of the 'death of Mrs. Glynn, was endorsed.

The meeting then went into committee for a round-table discussion, with the referees'. Blackball were declared winners of the” Bradshaw Cup senior competition. FIXTURES FOR SUNDAY Senior (K.O. INANGAHUA CENTRE The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Inangahua Rugby League was held last evening, Mr. C. Coxall presiding over the following members: Messrs C. Curtis, C. H. Chandler, E. Riley, R. Chandler, C. Hinton, R. Irving and T. McKenzie (secretary). The secretary was instructed to convey to Messrs W. and R. Glynn of Riinanga the sympathy of the League in their bereavement. The Auckland Rugby League wrote regretting that, owing to the lateness of the season, it could not entertain a visit from inangahua this season. The senior Challenge Cup, previously held by the Reefton Club, was allotted to the Waiuta Club and it was .decided to receive challenges for it. The following fixtures were drawn up for September 11: — Senior. Flannigan Cup (final matches). Waiuta v. Waratahs at Waiuta at 2.45 p.m. (F. Thorn). Grey Valley v. Junction at Ikamatua at 2.30 I. E.
