REVOLT SUPPRESSED. [BY CABLE —FBESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] SANTIAGO, September 6. President Alessandri is seeking for authority to declare a state of siege throughout the country. This follows an announcement ny the Government that fifty-eight persons were killed during internal disorders. It is stated that a'Fascist uprising was put down, after four hours fighting, in which artillery and machinegun fire threw the city into a panic. The Young Chilean Nacistas made a surprise attack. They seized the Santiago University, and also a tenstorey workers’ assurance building, commanding the Presidential Palace, Carabineers faced a blaze of Nacista revolver fire, but artillery were employed, and after they had broken down the doors, the majority of the Nacista surrendered. More than eighty of them were arrested, including General Carlos Ibanpz, who is the Nacista candidate foi the Presidential elections on October 25. The Nacistas have an urgent programme, which has been borrowed from the German Nazis.
