OPENING OF SEASON The 1938 season of the West Coast Rugby Union will be opened to-mor-row, when twelve matches, including four senior grade games will be played. The principal matches at Greymouth will be the senior fixtures between Blaketown and Excelsiors on the No. 1 ground, and United and Celtic on the No. 2 ground, at. Rugby Park. Cobden and Pirates seniors and Star Seniors and Kiwis will meet at Hokitika. Kumara and Star Juniors will provide the main curtain-raiser at Rugby Park, at 1.30 p.m. Other matches will be played at Cobden, Te Kinga, South Beach, and on the Technical School ground.
