[by cable —PLESS ASSN. —COPYBIGUT.] MELBOURNE FIRE. MELBOURNE, April 28. Damage estimated at £68,000 was caused bj’ fire, which destroyed most of the clothing factory and stock of Denniston and Coy. Pty. RETURNED SOLDIERS SYDNEY, April 27. The Returned Soldiers’ League State Council has accepted an invitation from the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association to send a delegation to New Zealand for Anzac Day, 1940. “Probably the greatest contingent of men to leave Australia since tbe Great War will make the trip,” declared the State President (Mr. L. Robb) to-day.
