WOMAN CHARGED WITH MURDER. Rsmzsr [PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] DARGAVILLE, April 19. After investigations by Detectives J. B. Finlay and G. Miller and Sergt. F. Culloty, extending over two days, into the discovery at Aratapu on Good Friday of the body of a child aged
about six months, an arrest was made at Dargaville about noon yesterday. In the Dargaville Magistrate’s Court this riiorning Hazel Frances Evans, single, aged 21, was charged’ that on April 3 2 at Aratapu, she murdered an infant child, Alma Rosie Evans. On tho application of Detective Finlay, Evans was remanded to appeal’ at Auckland on April 27.
