Robert Knight, aged about 56 years, married, of Runanga, was buried by a fall of coal in O’Brien and Party’s mine at Rewanui, about 11 o’clock this morning. The fall was extensive, and as there was no one working with Knight at the time of the accident, it was not known this aftenoon, whether Knight was buried under the fall, or behind it.
