Owing to the urgent necessity to give them to war industry, animal fats in futuro will bo distributed among the manufacturers of war material, who need them. Butchers failing to send fats from slaugtherhouses are liable to from one to three years’ imprisonment, plus a fine of £3O. Retailers selling fats are liable to from two to three years’ imprisonment.
