ABBEY PREPARATION COST [BBITISH OFFICIAL WIBELESS.] RUGBY, February 18. A supplementary estimate of £2,988,504 contains provision for expenses for the Coronation amounting to £152,000. Of this sum, £150,000 represents the cost of the preparation of Westminster Abbey and an annexe, which is being specially built, and the erection of stands along the route of the procession. A central organisation, which will assist Coronation visitors to find beds and meals, is now established, and 3000 rooms have already been offered for disposal by it. It is stated that many thousands more are required.
