The Union Steam Ship Company of New' Zealand,’Ow'nefs of the Kakariki, which sank after a collision off the Australian coast with the steamer Caradale, to-day issued a High Court writ claiming from the owners of the Chradale £50,000 iff damages alleged to have been caused in the collision. The Caradale was arrested to-day when, under the authority df'the High Court, a sheriff’s officer nailed the w’rlt to her mast.
