[BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.) KILLED BY LIGHTNING. SYDNEY, December 21. Lightning killed Herbert Fletcher, 48, dairy farmer, while he was tending cows oil his farm near Nowra. His clothes were alight and a dead cow lay beside him, when his wife reached his side, a few seconds after the tragedy. Other cows lay unconscious in the dairy yard.
