MINISTERIAL VISIT
HON. P. FRASER ON WEST COAST. Primarily on holiday bent, Hon. P. Fraser, Minister of Education. Health, and Marine, will arrive at Greymouth, this evening, by motor-car. He will be accompanied by. Mrs Fraser, and they intend to visit. Waiho and Weheka, for Christmas. The Minister will be extended a welcome at the Borough Council Chambers, this evening, and he will later receive a number of deputations. Mr and Mrs Fraser will leave tomorrow morning, for Hokitika. In the afternoon, the Minister will place in position the foundation stone for the new Nurses’ Home at the Westland Hospital. He will receive deputations, to-morrow evening, including one from the Hokitika Harbour Board and Borough Council, with reference to river protection work at Hokitika. He will later be entertained by local bodies, at a social. Leaving for Waiho and Weheka, on Wednesday morning, the Minister will stop at Ross, Hari Hari, and Wataroa. He will be accompanied by Mr J. O’Brien, M.P., as far as Waiho. Mr O’Brien will return to Greymouth on Thursday.
