|RY CARLE I'RESH ASSN. COPYRIGHT.)

(Received August 12, 10.30 a.m.) DURBAN, August 11.

They took refuge with the flocks in an unexplored cave, the mouth of which was blocked by an avalanche. Till their matches ran out, they cooked goat flesh. Afterwards they ate it raw. Another avalanche clear ed the exit, and, half-blinded, the boys crept to their homes, where they had long been given up as dead.
