[by CABLE —PRESS ASSN; —COPYRIGHT.]
(Received August 12, Noon). LONDON, August 11.
The Associated Press understands that the Air Ministry in response to an appeal from Sir A. Parkhill reversed the decision not to supply machines to the Royal Australian Air Force, owing to pressure of the British programme, and agreed to supply ninety, comprising eighteen Seagull Amphibians, thirty-six Hawker Demon fighters, and thirty-six Avro Ansons. The first consignment will leave for Australia in a few weeks.
