PARIS, August 9.
M. Daladier. in addressing the Senate on the Bill to nationalise the arms industry, said: “We have been passing through a difficult time since the war. We want to show the world that we intend to control the armaments manufacture. Let those who want peace, show it by following our example.” “La Liberte” publishes messages from Cologne giving prominence to the "ceaseless increasing of the German garrisons on the Rhineland to an extent justifying uneasiness."
