General Inference: The last of the recent westerly depressions is passing eastward off the Dominion, and an anticyclone is advancing across the north Tasman Sea.
Forecast: Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds, later again veering more westerly. Weather cool and changeable, with passing showers at times. Seas moderate to rather rough.
