RIFLE SHOOTING

■GREY MINIATURE CLUB. The second competition for VicePresident W. Hamilton’s trophy was fired off on the club’s range. S. Sharman, F. Molloy and S. Davy tied for the Hqtty Button with a score of 78, and S. Sharman won the shoot-off with a very fine possible, and F. Molloy registered 79. The following are the leading scores, conditions eight counting shots, one compulsory sighter, on the metric target: —

RUNANGA MINIATURE CLUB. At the ladies’ miniature rifle shoot last evening, Mrs. O’Neill carried home the Hotty Button again, with a score of 69. At the handicap shoot last Friday evening, Mrs. Pattison Avon the trophy, presented by Miss Storrie, in the shoot-off between M, Tyson, D. Newton and herself. The individual scores last evening were: Mrs. O’Neill 69, Mrs. Pattison 63, Miss M. Tyler 62, Miss D. Newton 61 Miss J. Tyson 59, Miss M. Moore 59, Miss M. Maddison 58, Miss N. Storrie 55, Miss A.
