WEATHER FORECAST General inference: Pressure is still rather low east of the North Island and about Cook Strait, but an anti-cyclone covers the Tasman Sea, and pressures are now rising over the Dominion. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable winds, with south-easterlies predominating. Weather fine, and cold temperatures, with sharp inland frosts. Seas slight to moderate.
