The “Sun-Herald” says: The Hurlingham Committee suspended Tyrell Martin, England’s polo captain, from the Champion Cup tournament, "for conduct in the tournament which was prejudicial to the game.” Tyrell Martin was found guilty of striking H. H. Hughes, an opponent, during the Cup semi-final. The game was very keen. Tyrell Martin was observed swinging a stick to hit Hughes. The incident was regarded as closed, when the players shook hands.
