AIRMAN’S WILL ROMANCE
NO TRACE OF WOMAN LEGATEE
BELFAST, April 25
A war-time romance lay behind an application made before the Lord Chief Justice. Sir William Moore, in Belfast, to-day. when it was stated that a London woman appointed as executrix of a Belfast man could not be traced. The application was made to appoint an administrator of the estate of Gerald W. White, late of Hertfordroad, Finchley, London, an engineer who served in the Air Force during the war and died in 1932. Counsel said that under his will of 1917 the testator appointed Miss E. Clements, of Jasmine-grove. Anerley. London, as his executrix and universal legatee. In the event of her dying before him he devised his property to his brother, Edmund Stewart. White.
The woman named was unknown to his relatives, and up to now they had been unable to obtain information as to her whereabouts.
The estate consisted of a share of rents and property in Belfast, representing the estate of the testator’s grandfather.
The Lord Chief Justice granted the order.
