GIVEN TO BIBLE SOCIETY. LONDON, March 20. j King George V.’s personal prayer-] book —one of the most valued possessions—has been presented to the British and Foreign Bible Society by Queen Mary. It has been placed on public view in the society’s library. The prayer-book, which is in a perfect state of preservation, bear? King George’s signature on,the fly-leaf: George Rli., July, 1910. It was presented to him on the 17th anniversary of his marriage, two. months after his accession to thei i hrone. The book is handsomely bound in leather, with silk cover linings, and the pages have gilt edges. It was printed by the Oxford University Press.
