. PEPPER FAILURE SEQUEL. [BY CABLE —PBESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] LONDON, November 8. A summons has -been issued, arising out of the pepper crisis in February last, on Barabed Bishirgian, the Deputy Chairman of the firm of James and Shakespeare, which is now in compulsory liquidation. Another summons has been issued on John Howeson, a Director of many companies and a member of the executive of the Tin Producers’ Association. Another summons has been, issuefl on Louis Hardy, the former managing director of Williams Henry and Co.; in which company John Howeson was a large shareholder, and which was also closely associated with the firm of James and Shakespeare. All of the summonses refer to a prospectus deal which was issued concerning James and Shakespeare.
