LONDON MANAGER FAREWELLED. [I’EB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, November 8. At its meting, yesterday; the Dairy Board paid its official farewell to-its-London manager, Mr H. E. Davis, who will leave the Dominion shortly. The Board’s Deputy-Chairman, Mr. C. P. Agar, who presided, said' the Board was very pleased to have had Mr Davis with it, and the members looked forward to future contact with him. The Board’s thanks were due to him for the very clear exposition he had given of the group marketing proposals, and the solidarity of, industry was in no small measure due to the frank way-in which Mr Davis had handled the problem. “You go back to London to resume your duties, with the completed confidence of every member of the Board,’ added Mr Agar. In reply, Mr Davis said he was not in any way afraid of the results of the group-marketing proposals. Hex had had a very happy reception by the dairy industry,and had greatly apprecaited the which had been afforded him of outlining the position of the industry in various districts. He assured the Board that its London staff would give loyal support in the development of the' new’ scheme.
