Cities throughout France calmlj’ demonstrated against the Government decrees for wage and salary and other reduction. At Lille electricians cut off the current for a quarter of an hour, and the omnibus workers struck for three-quarters of an hour. At Rochforte. : the dockers demanded the summoning of Parliament. Left Wing supporters held an indignation meeting at Angouleme. Ex-soldiers demonstrated in several towns.
