Lord Hewart, Lord Chief Justice of England, has a habit of visiting greengrocers’ shops and "rattling” apples that lie there on display. This was revealed yesterday by Lady Hewart, at the New Zealand Government Offices, Si rand, when she opened the Ni w Zealand apple season.
