£lOO.OOO JEWELS AT BALL. BIRMINGHAM, November 13. I Jewellery valued at £ 100,000 was 'exhibited at the Birmingham Jeweli levs’ and Silversmiths’ Association ball ibeie to-night. A dozen policewomen in evening dress were among the guests. They mingled among the other dancers, who were wholly unaware of their presence. Four plain-clothes policemen were near the showcases. jewels were also displayed by six mannequins, one of whom wore £20.000 worth of diamonds.
