MISSIONARIES KILLED. . [BY CABLE PRESS ASSN. COPYRIGHT.] (Received December 15,10.30 a.m.) SHANGHAI, December 14. While news of the fate of the missionaries Hayman and Bosshardt, who were captured by Communists at Kwechow on October 9, is lacking, news was received by the China Inland Mission of the death ,of the ' missionary John Stains, his wife, and their two months’ old child, in the vicinity of Tsingteh. Stains was captured by Communists fleeing before Government troops on December 10. Their bodies were discovered on a battlefield where apparently, the Reds encountered Governi ment troops.
