BOXING
STRICKLAND BEATS CAMPBELL [PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION.] TIMARU, November 15. In a disappointing boxing contest to-night, Maurice Strickland gained the decision over Alan Campbell on a technical knockout in the seventh round. Strickland had the better of the contest throughout. Campbell was severely punished in the last round, and, though the gong saved him, he intimated to the referee that he was not fit to continue.
