Conversion 31 per cent, rose to £lO7 11-16, a new high record, and local loans 3 per cents, were quoted at £96/12/6.

Slate country is at present in the face. No. 4 North Drive: —Total distance driven on reef 50 feet. The face is much improved, the stone now beingfive feet wide, and clean. The leading stope over the level is looking well, clean stone six feet wide over the back and in the face. No. 4 South Drive:—Total distance driven 30 feet. Fifteen feet is in reef averaging four feet wide. The width in the face is four feet six inches. No. 1 Level: — Work recommenced in this level. Noth’Fj of importance to report.
