A sitting of the Warden’s Court was held at Greymouth this morning, before the Warden, Mr. H. Morgan, the following cases being dealt with: — James McGrath, renewal of special sea beach claim No. 163/32, Block 3, Waimea S.D. —Granted for 21 years.

Henry McGrath, special sea beach claim, 3 acres, Block 3, Waimea S.D., 21 years.—Granted, subject to conditions on license.

James Nicholson, special, sea beach claim, one acre one rood 13 perches, Block 2, Te Miko S.D., 2 years.—Granted, subject to conditions on license. Brown’s Terrace Consolidated Ltd., ordinary prospecting license, 100 acres, Block 3, Hohonu S.D., 2 applications.— Both granted, subject to Forestry conditions, the first subject to an amended description, and the second subject to the area not including any portion of Section 3355.

When the case of Bourke Bros. v. Golden Sands was called this morning, Mr. F. A. Kitchingham. who represented plaintiffs, asked for an adjournment as he had an important public engagement this afternoon. Mr. T. F. Brosnan, for the defendant Company, offered no objection and the case was adjourned by the Court sine die.
