WAIUTA NOTES
[OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Nurses Avery and P. McEwin, of the Buller Hospital staff, are visiting Waiuta. Misses J. Collins and I. Hunter were week-end visitors to Greymouth. Mr A. McEwin, who has been on a short visit to Westport, has returned. Messrs R. Welsh and L. Page were visitors to Greymouth for the weekend. Mr B. Dunshea, who is an inmate of the Reefton Hospital, is making satisfactory progress. A number of supporters /of the Waiuta Soccer team travelled to Dobson on Sunday last to witness the match for the Blackmuu Cup. The Waiuta team proved themselves to be of a higher standard than the junior grade when they won the Cup. The game was interesting and was played at a fast pace. The local team is unbeaten this season, and will play senior next season. There are also bright prospects of the club being able to play in both senior and junior grades.
