INSULL’S BAIL

RE-ARREST FOLLOWS. [BY CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYRIGHT.] (Received May 12. 10.30 a.m.) CHICAGO, May 11. Instill was freed to-day from custody on two hundred thousand dollars bail. The bond was furnished by a surety company, after he had declined to plead guilty, or not guilty to the indictments charging him with fraudulent use of mails and violation of bankruptcy laws. The attorneys for Instill entered a plea challenging his seizure in Istandbul Harbour as illegal, but the Court withhold immediate ruling, and postponed the arguments until Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Instill was rearrested as he stepped from the courtroom, on warrants charging him with embezzlement but it was expected that additional bonds of fifty thousand dollars would be secured.
